1] HEAD, SHARIAH REVIEW (RANK - AVP/SM)
Job Description:-
1. Develop the shariah review methodology ie; area to be assesed, high risk areas, asset based/debt based, risk rating, frequency etc.
2. Develop shariah review plan on annual basis.
3. Oversee and manage the operations of shariah review and submission of reports to SC, Management and Board on timely manner.
4. Ensure the shariah review SOP is updated.
5. To conduct shariah compliance awareness to EXIM staff on periodic basis.
Minimum Qualification
Degree in shariah/business management/banking or equivalent.
Experience Required
- Minimum 6 to 10 years in Banking. Exposure in shariah review/ shariah audit.
- Knowledge in regulatory requirement.

2] ASSISTANT MANAGER, SHARIAH & OPERATION AUDIT.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• To perform audit of the business operations, to value add and make recommendation for the purpose of providing an objective and independent assurance on its adequacy and effectiveness of risk management, internal controls and corporate governance.
• Prepare planning documentation, work programmes and final projects for review by Head / Chief Internal Audit.
• Assess, evaluate and appraise the adequacy and effectiveness of the control activities within the Bank's operations by :
- understanding the business process;
- identifying and evaluating major risks; and
- identifying and evaluating existing internal control activities.
• Analyse data collected to reach audit conclusions, identify and suggest solutions for problems identified during the audit including opportunities for improving operational efficiency.
• Communicate with the auditee and Unit Head / Chief Internal Audit during audit fieldwork to keep them abreast of any control deficiencies and findings.
Engage in ad-hoc and special assignments/projects such as fraud or other confidential investigations on need basis.
REQUIREMENTS
• Degree holder in Banking, Finance, Accounting or other related qualifications;
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of audit working experience in banking operations;
• Candidate with treasury / shariah audit experience / background will have an added advantage;
• Possess strong interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team, communication skills, analytical thinking and problem solving;
• Possess the initiative and is detail oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to meet tight schedules;
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia; and
• Able to work under pressure.
